A RyanAir pilot is inspiring flyers to get out and travel with the help of social media.

Michelle Gooris, 25, from Amsterdam, wows her fans with snap shots of her life as a pilot, including sitting at the cockpit and lounging in a bikini by the sea.

The Dutch woman has been training as a pilot since was 19, and finished her studies in 2013.

She began working as a commercial pilot two years later and has never looked back.

The young pilot claims there are a lot of misconceptions about her industry.

“I noticed the general idea of being a ‘pilot’ is surrounded by a lot of misconceptions,” she wrote on her website about her career.

“My goal is to show people what the industry is actually like. 

“Aviation is not only about lying on the beach and making money.”

She now shares pictures from her travels and reviews on her blog, as well as working as a pilot.

“This industry is about passion and the will to work hard for your goals in life,” she said.

“I am trying to show that, with a little bit of luck, anyone can become a pilot, as long as you give the full 200%.”

Pictures from Michelle’s Instagram are envy-inducing, as she gives viewers a glimpse of her travels.

She has posted pictures paddle boarding at the Apulit Island Resort, in El Nido, Palawan.

She can be seen sunbathing in a bikini in Thailand at the Matinloc Resort in the Philippines.

Michelle is also prone to the occasions cockpit selfie, in locations such as Barcelona–El Prat Airport and Brussels Airport.
